OVERVIEW:

The impact of COVID-19 pandemic is being felt by businesses around the world. The adverse impact of the pandemic started with disruptions in the global supply-chains, which later precipitated into an ominous compression in demand. With a focus on promoting ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, transformational and structural reforms have been introduced across several key areas, which will be instrumental in rebuilding the Indian economy and pave the way for a sustained economic revival.

Amidst the pandemic, there is an amplification of the digital engagement processes of all businesses, and the year 2020-21 is the turning point for this transition where one can predict more businesses marching beyond digital transformation to achieve better products, with superior operational excellence and greater business growth.

A pragmatic approach to future macro technology is necessary for enterprises to be future-ready and enter the next wave of ‘intelligent digital transformation’. With technology being the number-one differentiator for businesses today, Indian organisations (large-scale manufacturing units, SMEs, MSMEs, financial and retail divisions) need to promptly adapt and respond to the ongoing technology disruptions to be operationally efficient and create global competitiveness.

It is against this backdrop that CII Western Region is organizing the 5th edition CII Digitizing India Summit 2021.

5TH EDITION CII DIGITIZING INDIA SUMMIT 2021:

With the vision of supporting India with total empowerment in its digital transformation and provide the industry with a needed hand-holding, The CII Western Region is pleased to present the 5th edition of CII Digitizing India Summit that will capture the digital transformation approaches and help reimagine the future of work. 

The summit is exclusively focused on India’s vibrant SME sector, the heavy-duty manufacturing sector, and other tech-enabled sectors like transportation, agriculture, BFSI, retail, hospitality, etc. to enhance their productivity, competitiveness, and profitability by applying dynamic digital technology and innovative practices.  

The summit will share key insights and prescriptive advice for business and technology leaders so they can better understand the innovative technologies that are enabling efficient digital transformation to streamline existing processes.
