ABOUT EVENT

Enteric diseases are infectious caused by viruses and bacteria that enter the body through the mouth or intestinal systems primarily because of eating, drinking and digesting contaminated foods or liquids. Cholera, Typhoid, Fever, Salmonella and Escherichia Coli or E-Coli infections are some of the most common enteric diseases.

Confederation of Indian Industry’s Food and Agriculture Centre of Excellence proposes to facilitate a digital technical session on “Insights of Medical Examination of Food Handlers in Food Business for Food Safety & Standard Acts, Rules & Regulation 2011, Schedule 4”. The program would sensitize food business and provide an in-depth understanding on the medical test requirements as per Food Safety as Food Safety & Standard Act Rules & Regulations, 2011 Schedule 4 to effective address the concern on contamination of food through communicable disease.
