ABOUT EVENT

While India is celebrating 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' at India@75, to be a world leader it is significant for investing in materials innovation, which means investing in India’s future.
An in-depth focus on materials science must be part of India’s innovation strategy to fuel sectoral growth that will drive the next economic growth era. Materials science is one of the most influential innovation drivers for sustainable and resilient socioeconomic growth.
With this in view, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is hosting the 1st ever Advanced Materials Summit on 2-3 December 2022 (over virtual platform).
Advanced Materials have the power to drive technological innovation and are critical as they have applications across all the technology verticals from defence to space. Demand for clean and efficient energy, sustainable mobility, cutting-edge healthcare, urban infrastructure, potable water, and other amenities is rising exponentially. These are economic pillars that are integral for the growth of India, hence Advanced Materials are critical for national importance.
The summit will be attended by a global pool of technology experts, government leaders, eminent academicians, industry stalwarts and startups from India, and many other countries to engage in high level technology leadership dialogues to explore technology & business partnerships and thereby boost innovation, investment, and trade in Advanced Materials spectrum.
The summit would focus on the following Advanced Materials- Graphene, Titanium, Biomaterials, Recycling Materials, Composite Materials, Ceramics and Rare Earth Elements.
You would be pleased to know that a Thought Leadership Report covering the above materials of national importance would also be released during the summit.
