The automotive industry is a pillar of Indian economy and a key driver of macroeconomic growth and technological advancement. The Indian auto industry is set to witness major changes in the form of electric vehicles (EVs) and Intelligent Transport system (ITS) with aims to ease concerns including traffic congestion, fuel dependency, air & noise pollution etc. Government of India set the country’s ambitious target to have of 100% electric vehicles (EVs) fleet on road by 2030. Therefore, the Government of India has been taking various initiatives to promote faster adoption of electric vehicles.
Confederation of Indian Industry is organizing 2nd edition of Conference on Future of Mobility in India on 15 February, 2022.
