Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with TAITRA is organizing the Digital Conference on “India - Taiwan Business Cooperation – Building Synergies thru New Partnerships” on November 23, 2021 from 0930 - 1330 hrs over a virtual platform.
While India and Taiwan are laying the groundwork to discuss a comprehensive trade deal covering goods, services and investments, negotiations are on to revise the investment deal which is evident in some early progress in the semiconductor industry and other high technology investments by taking advantage of the production linked scheme of Government of India. We are also witnessing greater cooperation in digital healthcare, infrastructure development including smart cities, green and renewable energy sector in the last couple of years.
With an objective to further strengthening trade and business cooperation between the two economies, CII is organizing this Digital Conference which will be focused on exploring greater supply chain and manufacturing synergies in various sectors such as Electric mobility, Medical technology, Smart Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Hi-Tech Capital Goods, Electronics & Semiconductor among others. The event will give a platform for structured discussion and dialogue between Taiwanese and Indian Companies and to showcase the new areas of collaboration offer and opportunity for interested members to interact for possible collaboration.
