Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing the
Texcon 2021,
the
13th edition
of the
annual two-day International Conference
on
Textiles and Apparel
scheduled on
21 - 22 October 2021
over virtual platform.
As you are aware, the Textiles & Apparel industry is one of the highest job-creating sector with significant export revenues. India has strengths across the entire value chain from fiber to apparel and has the potential to dominate in Global Textiles Trade. The Government has set a vision to grow the industry to $350 billion by 2025.
The textile industry is set on a reinvigorated growth path on the back of recent transformational policy reforms & incentives. The sector has the potential to drive the country’s economic growth in line with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.
The focus of the conference is to identify the winning value proposition in global textile exports, build a new sustainability narrative, strengthen India’s textile hubs and establish ‘brand India’ along with enhanced market access in the global marketplace.
