Confederation of Indian Industry is organising the 2nd Edition of Conference on Urban Water Management : Water and Cities on Wednesday, 14th December 2022 over virtual platform.
The Theme of the Conference would be “Towards Innovative, Sustainable and Climate Resilient Solutions”
As water demand exceeds supply in most cities, water management needs to undergo a revolution to ensure both availability and quality of water to become self-sufficient in the future. The broad objective of the Conference is to deliberate on the integrated approach for urban water management.
The Conference would majorly focus on the following aspects :
- Water savings- Increasing efficiency in the distribution and supply of drinking water
- New technologies and infrastructure for wastewater management
- Non-potable water usage in the urban scenario
- Alternate water management strategy
- Public participatory approach
