As India is gradually recovering from the pandemic, seeing green shoots in the economy, the sectors have started gaining momentum. International Monetary Fund (IMF) projects 11.5% growth rate for India in 2021, making the country the only major economy in the world to register double digit growth this year amidst coronavirus. The Indian Tourism sector is project to grow rapidly owing to its tendency to bounce back. The sector has immense potential to flourish, rope in investments and become one of the driving engines of the economy.
Against this backdrop, CII is organizing a summit on A to I of Tourism & Hospitality i.e. Access | Accommodation | Attractions | Amenities | Investments of Tourism & Hospitality supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The summit is scheduled to be held on 18-19 March 2021 over a digital platform. The key objective of the summit is to promote India as the ‘Investment Destination’ and attract investment opportunities in the tourism sector of India.
