As the global manufacturing landscape shifts, the healthcare industry being one of the largest contributor to nation’s GDP, has the potential to emerge as a major global production hub, significantly contributing to Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. With a thrust on reduction in import dependency, India can attract investments for manufacturing quality products using cutting-edge technologies in specified clusters and focus on sustainability.
Towards this CII is organising th 3rd edition of Health Tech India 2021 - “Building Sustainable Health Technology for Aatma Nirbhar Bharat”. It is being held from 25 February – 24 March 2021 on CII HIVE platform.
The Government of India is actively pursuing the issues and providing a conducive environment for growth of the sector. In the post-Covid19 scenario, healthcare has become one of the most critical sectors for global economy. Many new opportunities are arising in leveraging global value chains, safety and sustainability management, R&D and digitalization. The proposed Conference and Expo would be taking up some of these aspects and driving new solutions for accelerating the growth of the sector with an aim to create a global platform for manufacturers in the medical devices, equipments technology, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, ayurveda, consumables and hospital supplies.
