As you are aware, Government of India is laying a lot of emphasis on transforming Indian education system starting from the School itself and has also came up with the National Education Policy in the year 2020. The policy is a comprehensive framework for Pelementary education to higher education as well as vocational training in both rural and urban India. The Centre and State Government are fully committed to improve the quality of school and school education in the States.
The importance of good futuristic school education for the country’s economic growth can hardly be overstated. It is at the school level that the intellectual and moral foundations of children are built as they grow to be responsible and contributing citizens. Ensuring that they are provided with quality education is not only our responsibility, but also a moral obligation to the next generation.
CII perceives these challenges as opportunities for all stakeholders, including government and private sector schools. To address these issues and concerns and to discuss future of school education in the country, CII Northern Region is organizing the 3rd edition of its flagship initiative CII School Summit - Navigating the Future of School Education!
